Lena Gilbert has been choreographing theater with Paul Romanello since 2009. She is an engaging and passionate teacher and choreographer of musical theater with deep roots in the artistry of ballet and modern dance. She has an international teaching and performance resume, and earned an MFA in Dance from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She considers her work successful only when it is also fun.

PUBLIC SPEAKING

Lena Gilbert has been working as a communications coach since 2005. She has an especially astute antenna for industry jargon, and once she spots it, knows how to replace it with language that everyone can understand. As a trained dancer and experienced instructor, she is able to translate her movement skills to help clients communicate with ease and clarity in their bodies; she has quick instincts and a keen awareness of how to engage and connect with an audience – leading her naturally to teaching and coaching.  Lena embraces the gratifying work of crafting and clarifying every client’s particular message toward their desired goal.
