Rachel is a resident of New York City, where she has served as a music director/vocal coach/accompanist with Aquinas High School, the movement director/fight choreographer for Briarcliff Manor High School since 2014, and as a voice/piano instructor with The Studio for Performing Arts in New Canaan, CT. As a teaching artist, Rachel has worked for the University of Rochester, Purchase College, Fredonia State, and Spencerport Elementary.

Originally trained in classical theatre, Rachel brings an expansive theatrical background to the stage. She is a former member of the resident acting company of the award-winning theater The Flea, and has performed in touring and regional productions with companies such as PUSH Physical Theatre, Venture Productions, Cloud of Fools, M-34, the Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble, William H. Sadlier Inc., and more.

Rachel was born into a family of musicians: her father is a jazz guitarist, her mother is a former nightclub singer, her brother is a composer and multifaceted musician. As a child, Rachel studied voice, piano, and dance. She attended vocal competitions for several years while attending the Hochstein School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Sandra Boysen.
